The real-life '72 Tenants' location that has vanished from the map

Located in Qingyuan, the Mashilou building, is like the Hundred Families Courtyard from the movie 'Kung Fu', and it's like the real-life version of 'The 72 Tenants'. You can't find it on a map, and it's not maintained. Skyscrapers stand tall with Qingyuan's economic development, and the Republic-era style Mashilou seems to have traveled through time. Built in 1982, it was originally the dormitory for workers at the Qingyuan Fertilizer Factory. In 2002, when the factory closed down, many workers left this old building, but many people from the north chose to continue renting here, and some still live here today. There used to be a canteen, a guest house, and more in the building, and one can imagine it was quite grand.
