☀️ Guanyin Temple I happened to see Dai girls listening to scriptures and learning the Dharma in the temple, who were in retreat. Opposite is the Dai King's Palace, but it's still under construction, so I didn't go up. 🔥 Mengmao Town Banbeng Village An unexpected delight on the way to Zongfo Temple, a delicate little Dai village with features of Theravada Buddhism, including Zang houses and colorful sculptures, and bilingual broadcasts in Chinese and Dai language. In the evening, there might be a kind of eerie Southeast Asian horror and mystery. ⭐️ Jiegao Port A classic checkpoint, surrounded by shops selling Burmese and Thai specialties. 🌙 Bahu Coffee The decoration and menu are quite interesting. I ordered a 'Three Seconds' (a special blend of kumquat, jasmine, and oolong) and a fresh coconut latte, the latter of which was beyond expectations, very fragrant and not too sweet. A'kao Family Hand-Grabbed Rice ❄️ Fire-Roasted Crispy Butter Cake with Fresh Milk This is the best of the show! A fragrant, soft yet chewy cake paired with rich coconut milk, truly a delight for those who try it! ☁️ Thai Spicy Chicken Stir-Fried Noodles A stir-fried noodle dish with a strong sauce flavor, not too sour, and a very harmonious taste. 🌸 Thai Chicken Rice This is a safe choice, their chicken rice is not too hard, quite soft~
