Shiquan Ancient City (Part I)

Shiquan Ancient City is located in Shiquan County, Ankang City, Shaanxi Province. In the first year of the deposed Emperor of the Western Wei Dynasty (552), it was renamed Shiquan because there were many springs in the stone crevices south of the city, and it has a history of 1458 years to date. Over the centuries, the diligent and intelligent people of Shiquan have relied on natural resources and geographical advantages to create a brilliant historical culture and modern civilization, constructing a series of exceptionally beautiful landscapes, and it has become the best-preserved ancient county town in southern Shaanxi.
