The Abode of Immortals: The Residence of Immortals

☘️The Residence of Immortals, formerly known as Mount Tianmu, is the very place referred to in Li Bai's poem 'A Farewell to Meng Haoran on a Visit to Tianmu Mountain'. The scenic area is located in Xianju County, Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, and is the world's largest cluster of volcanic rhyolite landforms. 🌿The scenic area is divided into two major regions: Nantian and Beihai, featuring two cableways, Nantian and Beihai. They are connected by six footpaths: Flying Eagle Path, Wuwei Path, Guanyin Path, Cause and Effect Path, Prajna Path, and Bodhi Path. 🌾Recommended route: Enter through the South Gate and exit through the South Gate. Take the Nantian cableway up—Buddha's Shadow and Lotus Rhythm (to the right of the cableway exit)—Nantian Ladder—Nantian Summit—Nantian Bridge—Lotus Platform—Tai Chi Platform—Bagua Platform—Taibai Tower—Wolong Bridge—Dream Fulfilling Bridge—Ruyi Pavilion—Ruyi Bridge—Pantao Garden—Laojun Platform—Nantian cableway down If you want to walk less, you can also go from Ruyi Bridge to Beihai cableway down, and take a 5 yuan ferry bus back to the Tourist Center at the North Gate. If you parked at the South Gate parking lot, you can only go up and down from the South Gate. 🍁For self-driving, navigate directly to the South Gate parking lot of the Residence of Immortals, no need to navigate to the Tourist Center of the Residence of Immortals scenic area. From the Tourist Center, each person needs to buy a 10 yuan scenic area shuttle bus ticket to the South Gate. 📝Tips: Make sure to go up the mountain before 8:30 on holidays, otherwise, you will spend a lot of time queuing for the cableway.
