Zvartnots Int. Airport - Old Terminal

Zvartnots International Airport is the main international airport of Armenia and Yerevan's main international transport hub. In this post I want to tell you a little bit about the old terminal building of the Airport. it was built in the 1970s. The old terminal is the circular terminal. The parking area used to be underneath the bridge serving the Departures. The Arrivals hall was on the lowest floor, it was small and rather narrow. Once, it was the height of luxury with a restaurant high up on the central control tower and views across to the Armenian capital Yerevan. more than 2,500 passengers crowded through the country's most modern airport terminal every hour.
