Sunset: Bada viewing platform (best) Sunrise: Duoyishu viewing platform (best) 2. Tickets: Purchase online for 65 RMB/person, 35 RMB/person for seniors (70 RMB/person on-site) The ticket is valid for 3 days and allows access to several viewing platforms. We only went to see the Duoyishu viewing platform. From arriving to leaving, it took about 2 hours. There is a significant temperature difference, it's cold in the morning so remember to wear more clothes. After following the guide, we successfully went deep into the terraces. The terraces are spectacular and offered a different experience. Terraces without water have long Zhe'er Gen (a type of plant) on the edges and various vegetables planted inside. Terraces with water have ducks swimming in groups, freely hunting. With clouds, the colors of the terraces become more vibrant. On cloudless days, the terraces appear blue when viewed up close. Red, orange, yellow, blue, green, matched with the sunlight and sparkling water, make for very photogenic scenes. Notes: 1. The sunset after the sun goes down is the most beautiful, around 7 o'clock. On the way to Bada, there are also very good spots where you can see it for free. 2. If you want to capture a beautiful sunrise over the terraces, remember to start early. There are several levels of walkways at the viewing platform for taking photos. We set out at 6:30 am. 3. Hotels closer to the viewing platforms are more expensive, ranging from 800-1500 RMB, so it's worth comparing. We stayed half an hour's drive from Duoyishu. 4. Park your car at the hotel parking lot near the viewing platform, 20 RMB. 5. It's not easy to go up the mountain, and it's also difficult to go down. The road is rugged and the mountain roads can easily cause motion sickness. Drive slowly, the trip here is worth it.
