| Lingji Temple in the snow. Lingji Temple is a Taoist temple in Sanqing Mountain, which has been granted imperial gifts twice, and is the main venue for praying for blessings in the Taoist blessed land of Sanqing Mountain. Lingji Temple is located on the west bank of the eastern part of Sanqing Mountain, formerly known as Dragon King Temple. The year of its initial construction is unknown, and it was rebuilt during the Song Dynasty. According to historical records such as Yushan County Annals and Wang Ming Han Clan Genealogy, in the fifth year of Shaoding (1232 AD), "In the year of severe drought, Taoists looked at each other, and only our state relied on the divine gift to survive." Mengzhai Aigongfu held the Jiangyou envoy to report this to the court. Emperor Song Lizong Zhao Yun heard that the Golden Sand Dragon King Temple prayed for rain in the year of drought, and the farming and sowing rain made the local people avoid the suffering of famine. He has the merit of protecting the people, and he was given the title of "Lingji", and since then it has been called "Lingji Temple". The main hall of Lingji Temple is dedicated to Cihang Zhenren (Guanyin Bodhisattva), Manjusri and Samantabhadra Bodhisattva. The left and right side halls of the main hall are dedicated to the Three Officials (Heaven, Earth and Water Officials), the Three Pure Ones (Upper Pure, Jade Pure, and Tai Pure). The front hall is dedicated to the Taoist Guardian King Lingguan and Zhao Gongming. The left and right side halls of the front hall are dedicated to the gods of literature and wealth, the Guanyin who sends children, the saint of medicine, and the Jade Emperor. Every year on the birthday of Cihang Zhenren (Guanyin) on the 19th of February, the day of Cihang Zhenren (Guanyin)'s enlightenment on the 19th of June, and the day of Cihang Zhenren (Guanyin)'s ordination on the first day of August (19th of September), a blessing ceremony is held. Good men and women from all over the country will come to Sanqing Mountain Lingji Temple to pray for blessings, offer incense and worship.
