Wanghailou Park in Zhaotong City

Wanghailou Park is a relatively famous attraction in Zhaotong. It was built based on Enbolou (commonly known as Wanghailou). Wanghailou was first built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. At that time, this place was a vast ocean. After several destructions and constructions, especially in 2010, Enbolou was renovated and an artificial lake was built. Now, in Wanghailou Park, there is Phoenix Mountain on one side and high-rise buildings on the other. There are several small islands in the lake. The reflections of mountains, trees, and high-rise buildings are reflected in the lake. The pavilions and pavilions by the lake are beautiful and the environment is elegant. The entire park has become a highlight of Zhaotong City, one of the 'Eight Sceneries of Zhaoyang', and has become a holy place for Zhaotong citizens to relax, entertain and educate.
