Plum Blossom Appreciation at Huzhou Tiefo Temple

Late February to mid-March is the perfect time to see the plum blossoms in full bloom. A 2-hour drive from Shanghai to Huzhou Tiefo Temple to take a set of photos of the plum blossoms is also very pleasant. Tiefo Temple offers free admission, and upon entering, you can receive three incense sticks to burn and make a wish. In front of the Tiefo Temple's Grand Hall, there is a plum tree that is said to be over a hundred years old, which is why many people come here to admire the blossoms. It is recommended to go early (opens at 8:00 AM), and if you're lucky, you might even get to enjoy a bowl of vegetarian noodles for free.
