City C Debut Plan | Guishan Island, Zhuhai
| Guishan Island, Zhuhai. Plan to spend some leisure time on this small island, quietly admiring the vastness of the sea🌊. We are in Zhuhai, Guangdong, and we accidentally discovered this little-known island, which has become our romantic haven for the entire summer. In the sunny weather, embark on a journey with friends, come here, feel the sea breeze, and indulge in daze.
Address|Guishan Island, Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province
🚢Transportation|Take a boat from Xiangzhou Port in Zhuhai, it is recommended to buy tickets online in advance. There are currently six boats going back and forth every day, and the sea journey is less than 1 hour.

🔹Aimin Road: A downhill road leading to the blue sea, overlooking the sea level and the lighthouse, the morning photo light is beautiful, a bit like Kamakura. There is also a different style at sunset.
🔹Beishan Reservoir: You need to take a sightseeing car to go, the green ladder on the coastline, it is sunny during the day, it is recommended to go in the morning or evening.
🔹Guihai Village: Blue and white small house streets, with a hint of Santorini style.
🔹Guishan Lighthouse: It's right where you get off the boat, a great place to watch the sunset and the city's twilight scenery.
🔹Seaside Reef Plank Road: It's about a five-minute walk from the lighthouse, and there's a cave at the entrance, which is a good place to take pictures.
🏷Tips|🔸Choose to stay on the hillside near Guihai Village, the terrain is higher, choose a room that can see the sea, wake up in the morning and you can admire the sea view in front of the window, which is quite interesting.

The liveliest sea
Date: 20231211-20231212
Where is the boundary between the Pearl River and the South China Sea? It could be Lingdingyang, or the Wanshan Archipelago, or more specifically - the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge?
On a moving ship, if you can see this huge bridge on both sides, then, it is also under your feet.
Guishan Island is known as the gateway to Wanshan, administratively belonging to Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai City, and we stayed in Guishan Town, Guishan Village.
The homestay is on a high place, and the foot of the mountain next to it is Wen Tianxiang Square, I like the look of this national hero with deep hatred.
Then walk south along the coastal road, passing through the busiest places on this small island one by one, including the market, the dock, the customs...
At dusk, golden light covers the mountains, windmills, and ships on the sea.
The sun went down, and we just walked to No. 1 dike, between two lighthouses, one high and one low.
In addition to Guishan Village, Guishan Town also has a Guihai Village, which locals call Fisherman's Village and Hakka Village respectively.
The triangular land where the two villages meet is the CBD of this town, with several restaurants and shops.
On the way to Guishan Ship Memorial Park the next morning, I inadvertently looked back and saw the homestay last night.
I saw the green top of the stone in the morning, and I remembered watching the stars at night.
This island was originally called Garbage Tail Island. In memory of the soldiers who sacrificed here in the early days of liberation, it was renamed to its current name.
The lighthouse on No. 2 dike is red, corresponding to the green of No. 1 dike, guarding the entrance and exit of the island.
If there was such a good harbor back then, would the Guishan ship still be sunk?
Fortunately, we live in a peaceful era and can eat seafood for two consecutive meals.
The seawater here is not the clearest, and the content on the sea surface is complicated: there are many ships coming and going, and there are all kinds of tonnages; you can see Hong Kong, Macau, and Zhuhai; and there is a large row of wind power generator sets.
But I think we will come again, to eat delicious and cheap seafood; to see the most complete sunset, the liveliest sea!

Zhuhai Two-Day One-Night Travel Notes | The sunshine is really good
🏠Accommodation: Because we were going to Macau, we chose to stay in a hotel near Gongbei Port. In fact, it is very convenient to take a taxi in Zhuhai. If you are not going to Macau, I feel it is more convenient to book a hotel by the sea.
Day 1⃣️: Going to Guishan Island as an islander
We set off in the morning to Xiangzhou Wharf and took a boat to Guishan Island. 🉑️Follow the Xiangzhou Port public account to get the boat departure time.
The ticket price is 1⃣️0⃣️0⃣️ yuan, and it takes about fifty minutes to arrive. If you get seasick, you can stick a seasickness patch half an hour in advance. As a native of Guizhou, I get seasick badly, but luckily there are vomit bags on the boat, and seasickness patches.
Guishan Island is not big, you can choose to take a sightseeing car or ride a bicycle. Lazy people are advised to choose a sightseeing car.
We returned to Zhuhai by boat in the evening, and when we returned around five and a half, we encountered a super beautiful sunset, but we were already on the boat at that time, so we could only admire it through the glass. It is recommended that friends who go can wait for the sunset and then return after watching.
Day 2⃣️: Zhuhai Coastal Bicycle Circuit Tour
The scenic spots along the way include Lovers' Middle Road, Love Post Office, Seaside Swimming Field, Zhuhai Fisher Girl, City Balcony, and Sun Moon Shell Grand Theater.
🚴You can rent a shared bicycle for the circuit, stop or continue at any time, freely. You can also choose a sightseeing bus, but I prefer to ride a bicycle.
In the afternoon, go to Beishan Mansion to enjoy afternoon tea and lunch.
I highly recommend visiting the "Old Things Warehouse" inside, which is very interesting.
🍽️Eat:
Because my friend and I are not foodies, we basically eat whatever we encounter on the road. Didn't go out of our way to find.
Probably ate the more famous ones: Tuiji Shenji
The taste is average.
Zhuhai's famous oyster stewed chicken, because I don't eat stewed chicken, so I didn't eat it.
🚗Transportation:
Basically, my friend and I took a taxi or Didi
Because the last day was a night flight back, I didn't want to drag my luggage around, so I rented a car for a day. The luggage is left in the car, which is very convenient.
The car was delivered to the hotel, and the car was returned at the airport, which is very convenient. And the roads in Zhuhai are wide, and driving is quite comfortable.
Parking in Zhuhai is also quite convenient, but the parking fee is a bit expensive.

I am a seasick islander | Guishan Island
A mountain kid from Guizhou, I really get seasick when I'm on a boat. I wanted to be a happy islander for a day, but in the end, I became a seasick islander. It starts with seasickness and ends with seasickness.
☀️Itinerary:
Depart from Xiangzhou Wharf in Zhuhai and return to Zhuhai on the same day. Depart to Xiangzhou Wharf in the morning, 🉑️follow the Xiangzhou Port public account to get the departure time.
🎫The ticket price is about 1⃣️0⃣️0⃣️ yuan, and the journey takes about 50 minutes. If you get seasick like me, you can put on a seasickness patch half an hour in advance, and there are also vomit bags on the boat.
Guishan Island is not big, you can choose to take a sightseeing car or ride a bicycle to play, because my friend and I are lazy, so we chose the sightseeing car. There are sightseeing cars and bicycles at the port after getting off the boat.
🧸Tour route: ⬇️⬇️⬇️
🗼Lighthouse: Located near the pier, you can see it as soon as you get off the boat, and there is a coffee shop next to it. You can have a cup of coffee there after a round and enjoy the sunset.
🏖Dolphin Bay Beach: I had high expectations for the beach before I went, thinking about the sun, beach, drinking coconut water, and all kinds of enjoyment, but the actual experience was: the beach was under maintenance, so I just took a rough look.
🏡Little Fish Village: There is a popular zebra crossing here for photo taking.
🕴Guishan Ship Memorial Park: This is the most beautiful place in the whole journey, don't forget to enjoy it. The seaside plank road is very photogenic.
🏠Accommodation:
There are places to stay on the island, but my friend and I chose to return to Zhuhai. In the evening, take a boat back to Zhuhai City. If time permits, I suggest waiting a bit, admiring the beautiful sunset, and then returning.
When we left at about five and a half, we encountered the sunset. Unfortunately, we could only enjoy it through the ship's window, but it was still unforgettable. So, if you go to Guishan Island, you might as well wait for the sunset before leaving. Guishan Island may be small, but it also has its unique scenery and experience.

That summer on Guishan Island in Zhuhai, the sea was tranquil
Your love is very serene, yet I can hear it.
Lately, it's been raining a lot. Looking back at the photos I took on Guishan Island in Zhuhai in early June this year, I instantly feel healed.
Back then, I had plenty of vacation days and could choose to take a two-day break during the workweek to drive for a self-guided tour to see the sea on the islands of Zhuhai. It was such a luxury. It wasn't until August, when my job changed to a civil servant position with weekends off, that I realized the best of times had already been spent.
Location: Guishan Island, Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai City
Transportation: You can get there by boat from Zhuhai Xiangzhou Port for 100 yuan one way, by boat from Guangzhou Nansha Passenger Port, or by boat from Shenzhen Shekou Cruise Center.

Zhuhai Small Island/I discovered a path leading to the sea
The scenery on Guishan Island is truly healing~ The road to the sea, the cluster of guesthouses in the blue and white town, various seaside cafes, facing the sunset on the beach🌇, and most importantly, there are really few people😌. If you want to spend a quiet island holiday, it's just perfect.
🚢Transport
Xiangzhou Port→Guishan Island 50min by boat, 100r
How many days to play? If it's one day, it's fine for leisurely watching the sea and strolling around, but for a laid-back leisure time, I recommend 2 days.✌🏻
🔷Tour Route
The main attractions on the island are divided into 2 parts: the mountain guesthouse cluster + coastal road.
🔹Guesthouse Cluster
You can just walk around, there are slopes and stairs up and down.
'Blue and White Guesthouse Cluster' is located in Guishan Village's Chuangmei Courtyard, 🌸the whole path is decorated with flowers and courtyards, very fresh and clean.
'Daohe Guesthouse' is where we stayed, 🌇right outside there is a viewing platform, great for watching the sea and sunset.
'The Path to the Sea' is Aimin Road, a long slope, great for taking photos.📸
🔹Coastal Road
You need to take a local electric cart here, which charges by distance. If you stay in a guesthouse, they will give you a phone number☎, just call for a ride.
'Beishan Reservoir' is incredibly beautiful~ with sea, mountains, and colorful roads.
'Guishan Warship Memorial Park' offers a spectacular view of the sunset over the sea.
🔶Activities
🔸Swimming
Beach No.1 is right next to the pier, with a lighthouse and calm waters, many children play here. Dolphin🐬 Beach has more entertainment facilities, jet skis, paddleboards, etc.~
🔸Sea Foraging
You need to check the tide table or ask the shopkeepers. It wasn't suitable for sea foraging during my 2-day visit, but I heard you can have a good catch during the active season.
✅Tips
1. If you're driving, you can park at the pier and then go to the island, overnight parking seems to be 50.
2. You can charter a boat to other small islands for sea foraging and fishing.
3. There are seafood stalls and tea restaurants on the island, with moderate prices, more expensive than Zhuhai, but acceptable.

This is not a foreign place, this is Zhuhai Guishan Island One-day tour|||
|||. This is not a foreign place🏝 this is Zhuhai Guishan Island One-day tour|||🏝 First, let's talk about the expenses for Guishan Island, transportation 200, homestay per person 200, seafood per person 100, basically over 500 per person, if you have meal partners, it might be more cost-effective to go Dutch.
⛳️ In autumn and winter, it is recommended to wear short sleeves or bring a jacket to Guishan Island, with temperatures ranging from 20-30, but the night sea breeze can still be a bit cold🥶
🏝 Guishan Island, take the high-speed train to Zhuhai Station or Mingzhu Station, take a taxi from Mingzhu Station as it's cheaper, Zhuhai Station is a bit more prone to traffic jams, purchase boat tickets and accommodation in advance, especially round-trip boat tickets, you can pick up tickets on-site with your ID card.
🏝 Travel tips - ten points to note:
1.🌊 Guishan Island is a relatively niche island with not many people on weekdays.
2.⛳️ It is the closest island to Zhuhai and also the largest island in Zhuhai, only 3 nautical miles from Hong Kong, covered with 5G signal network. The eastern side close to Hong Kong has Hong Kong signals, but it does not affect the travel code. There are direct flights from Guangzhou Nansha and Shenzhen Shekou.
3.🛷 Transportation: Cars can be parked at Xiangzhou Port (3 yuan per car/half hour, with a maximum charge of 60 yuan within 24 hours). To get to the island, you need to take a passenger boat, Zhuhai Xiangzhou Port - Guishan Island (45 minutes by boat) boat ticket 85 yuan/trip, Shenzhen - Guishan Island (50 minutes) 120 yuan/trip, purchase tickets via the WeChat public accounts 'Xiangzhou Port' and 'China Merchants Shekou Cruise Homeport'.
4.🪁 Hotels and homestays: Ganhai House, includes pick-up service, costs around 200.
5.⛷ Island transportation: Private cars cannot go on the island, the means of transportation on the island are sightseeing cars, 5-10 yuan/person, island tours 30 yuan and 60 yuan, the difference is whether the tour includes going up the mountain or not.
6.🛹 Entertainment: Mainly seafood, fishing, cycling around the island, water sports🏄🏻♀️ jet skis, yachts, fishermen's fun, watching sunrise and sunset, fish raft barbecue.
7.🏂 Check-in spots: Aimin Road ➡️ Guishan Lighthouse ➡️ Guishan Ship Park ➡️ No.1 Dyke Beach ➡️ Wen Tianxiang Square ➡️ Bull Head Island ➡️ Beishan Reservoir ➡️ Two fishing villages Guishan Village and Guihai Village ➡️ Dolphin Bay partially open, 🌅 Beishan Reservoir (opposite side you can see the sunrise over Hong Kong's Lantau Island), the best photo spots are Aimin Road and the zebra crossing. Aimin Road is the slope you walk up, it is currently under renovation, you can walk without taking a car, pay attention to the weather for sunrise and sea foraging.
8.🐟 Seafood recommendations: Guishan clams, dog paw snails, general's hats, mussels, stone nine public, as well as grouper and some deep-sea fish, it is recommended to buy specialties from local fishermen to avoid being overcharged.
9. For restaurant recommendations, look for the big stalls, Jiang Xingxiong Peak is an old brand, buy seafood at the seafood market and have it processed across the street, go to shops that are frequented by many people, they can't possibly overcharge just me.
10. Sea foraging tips: Check the tide table and weather, bring tools to the beach to catch crabs and fish🐟
🏝 The island has just started developing and there are few commercial facilities, some items like sunscreen are not sold on the island, so you can bring your own.
FitFemmeFatale
Another off-the-beaten-path island with few people and beautiful scenery unlocked
【Guishan Island, Guangdong】Known as the little Kamakura of Guangdong, Guishan Island offers a truly authentic experience. Here's the most practical travel guide for a two-day, one-night trip!
⏰Tour Time: Two days and one night is more than enough
🚢Transport: Take a boat from Xiangzhou Port in Zhuhai. Search for Xiangzhou Port on the official WeChat account to book tickets in advance. A round trip costs 100 yuan, totaling 200 yuan. You can head there early to take photos on the nearby roads and even see Zhuhai's iconic landmark, the Day and Moon Shell. If you have enough time, you can take a photo with it~
🏠Accommodation: Guishan Island is small, and the accommodations are all centrally located. For convenience, you can choose a hotel near the pier, which usually costs between two to three hundred yuan per night
🍚Food & Drink: In the morning, you can have some snacks near the pier. Last time we went to a Hong Kong-style tea restaurant, and the taste was really good! It wasn't the perfunctory kind you find in tourist areas! In the evening, you can try the local seafood🦀️. You can buy it and have it cooked at a restaurant, or order directly from the restaurant. We calculated that the price difference isn't much, at most twenty to thirty yuan.
Recommendation: We chose Jiangxing Seafood Restaurant that day. Although it's hidden in an alley, it's still quite popular, and the taste is good
📷Travel Tips: On the first day, you can go to the lighthouse on the right side of the pier to take photos. If the weather is good, the sunset is quite nice. It's recommended to follow the island ring road to Guishan Warship Memorial Park. The entrance corner has stones naturally forming a frame, with the sunset's orange glow and the blue sea creating a stark contrast, giving you that blockbuster feel in minutes! If you arrive early, you can walk around the park first and come back later to take photos (no need to return the same way)
~ On the second day, you can take a tram at twenty-five past to go to the top to watch the sunrise. It's best to contact in advance, as the locals know the best time to go up the mountain. When coming down by tram, stop at Aimin Road, where you can see the two forked streets known as 'little Kamakura'~ It's also great for taking photos! Make sure not to mix up the itinerary for the two days, because the slope at Aimin Road is really steep, and it's too tiring to climb up by yourself😫 📮
Summary: Although Guishan Island is not the most outstanding among the islands I've visited, if you're in Guangzhou or Zhuhai and your schedule is tight, but you still want to see the sea, it really is a good choice! When we went, I don't know if it was because we missed the holidays or what, but there were really few people, which is perfect for finding a corner to stare at the sea and daydream. You can also catch some small seafood at the landing point of Guishan Warship Memorial Park~ Remember to bring good sun protection! If you're on a day trip, remember to buy your return boat ticket in advance!

Regret not coming to Zhuhai sooner! Every frame of Guishan Island is like a youth movie.
Wait for a naturally sunny day, you must come to Guishan Island to see the sea.
The island in winter is so comfortable that it makes you not want to leave.
Believe me!
If you think the sea in Zhuhai city is already beautiful,
But when you come to Guishan Island, you will find that the beauty here is directly x10.
The island is not very large in area,
It is said that it takes about 5 hours to walk around.
We took a light hiking route of about 6km in total.
The blue bay,
The red and white lighthouse, the winding island road,
Under the clear sky, every frame is as heart-stirring as a youth movie.

Route: Start from the tourist center, head north along Guihai Avenue, turn right at the Cultural Park towards Dolphin Bay Beach, go uphill, follow the main road to the mountaintop viewing platform, go down the mountain from the viewing platform, and return along the island road to Beishan Reservoir.
Guihai Avenue is suitable for watching the sunset, the viewing platform and the island road are suitable for watching the sunrise, so both morning and afternoon are suitable.
Hiking + photography + sightseeing, about 3 hours, there are uphill roads but no difficulty, the whole journey is on concrete roads, very easy to walk.
Before reaching Beishan Reservoir, you will find the road ahead is closed, but there is a small path on the right front that you can go through.
This section of the road also has sightseeing cars coming and going, so if you really can't walk anymore, you can also take a car, which charges by distance in segments
📸Recommended Photo Spots
Many fishing boats, seagulls, and fishermen on the side of Guihai Avenue, it's a quiet picture of an island town.
The viewing platform is the highest point of the entire route, where you can overlook the winding island road and the lighthouse at sea below.
The downhill road from the viewing platform ends at the sea, with trees on both sides, it's my favorite part of the road.
The island road is suitable for aerial photography, with mountains on one side and the sea on the other, just like a screenshot from a road movie.

It's not that Sanya is unaffordable! Gui Shan Island in Zhuhai offers better value for money
Recently, the exorbitant airfares to Sanya are really outrageous.
I want to see the sea during the Spring Festival without the crowds.
Fortunately, my cousin in Zhuhai recommended
a small island that locals love to visit.
🏝 Zhuhai Gui Shan Island
The number of visitors to the island is limited every day.
It's not overdeveloped.
The lighthouse sunset is absolutely beautiful.
It's perfect for a two-day weekend getaway.
——
🏠 Accommodation
You can choose between homestays or hotels.
Most homestays are located halfway up the mountain with nice sea views, and both Liyuan/Banshan Shizhu look good on site.
We stayed at Liyuan, with a double room for 568 during the Spring Festival, and a family room for 890, which is quite pricey.
Additionally, there are hotels opposite the pier, which are very conveniently located.
——
🦞 Dining
There are many seafood restaurants opposite the pier and along the coast, with famous stalls like Jiang Xing, and sea view ones like Xian Ye, etc.
We ate at Jiang Xing, the taste was okay, and the price seems to be uniform across the island, with prawns at 98 yuan per half kilo, and stir-fries ranging from 35 to 60 yuan each. The more picturesque restaurants by the sea charge the same.
——
🏕 Attractions
The island is quite small, and you can tour around it for 30 yuan. Here are some recommended spots:
Yiwan Beach
No.1 Breakwater
Gui Shan Lighthouse Park
Gui Shan Warship Memorial Park
Wen Tianxiang Square
The coastal walkway from the lighthouse to the Gui Shan Warship Memorial Park is also beautiful, great for a stroll.
The area around the lighthouse is particularly photogenic, especially for watching the sunset, so plan to spend more time there.
——
🚢 Transportation
1 Ferry
Buy tickets from the official account 'Xiangzhou Port' or at the Xiangzhou Port pier on site.
Adult standard cabin is 100 yuan, first class is 130 yuan, and there are two VIP rooms available for an additional 400 yuan upgrade, which allows access to the deck for the view.
2 Community Vehicle
After arriving on the island, there are community vehicles available, 30 yuan for the west circuit and 60 yuan for the east.
You can add the driver's WeChat and he'll come whenever you call; we paid 30 yuan per trip for our group.
Additionally, there are tandem bicycles for rent at 60 yuan per hour.
——
📝 Notes
1 The food options on the island are limited and pricey, seafood is worth a try, but tea and coffee are just average.
2 Fireworks are not allowed on the boat, we wanted to set off fireworks by the sea, but they were confiscated during the security check.
3 The ferry ride takes 50 minutes, and it can be quite shaky when it's windy, so it's a good idea to use motion sickness patches in advance.
4 The island is small, and the last boat leaves after 9 pm, so it's possible for people from nearby areas to make a day trip.

This is Guishan Island, where the lack of people is terrifying
Every time I go to Zhuhai, I end up playing in Macau!
I had no idea that Zhuhai also had islands to play on, and not just one island!!
Then I chose Guishan Island between Dong'ao Island, Wailingding Island, and Guishan Island, not for any particular reason, just for the 'Little Kamakura' of Guangdong!
Guishan Island is quite small, if you're just going to check in and take photos, one day is completely enough! I went there and back on the same day, arriving around 10 am and returning to Zhuhai around 5 or 6 pm! There was plenty of time!
When I went there, there were really few people, mostly island residents, a very niche island! You can take photos however you want!
If you want to experience the island atmosphere, you can stay there for a night. There are many homestays, but I feel like the facilities are not that great!
After arriving on the island, you can rent a bicycle🚲, or take the island's community vehicle which is very cheap, just a few yuan.
I suggest that as soon as you get off the boat, turn right! Go straight to take photos!
Go to the lighthouse to take pictures. There's a beach next to the lighthouse, and even swings to play on! It's really good for taking photos hahaha
Then you can walk to the Guishan Warship Memorial Park to take pictures of the rocks!!
It's really photogenic!!
Staring at the sea🌊 is really comfortable
Girls, invite your friends to experience the island life of Guangdong's 'Little Kamakura'~

I chose the Little Conch Inn by the seaside🐚. The first floor is 'Guixiaoguan', which offers simple meals and drinks🥤. The rooms are on the second floor, not very large, but fully equipped, clean and hygienic, and it's just a two or three-minute walk to the beach and restaurants.💰250 yuan/night.

Guishan Island | A spacious and worry-free leisure island 🏝️🌞
This Spring Festival, I decided to take my child to Zhuhai Changlong for fun, and I wanted to experience the island style by the way. Therefore, before departure, I carefully studied various choices of Zhuhai's outlying islands, and finally my favorite was 'Guishan Island'.
In terms of scenery, although the nearby outlying islands all have good scenery, theoretically, the longer the ship time, the more beautiful the sea view. Therefore, I chose Guishan Island with a slightly shorter ship time to ensure that the beautiful sea view is not covered by the long voyage. 🚢🏞️
Considering the crowd during the Spring Festival, I avoided some of the most popular islands and chose the relatively quiet Guishan Island. As for food, my husband and I are foodies, so the local seafood became a key factor in our decision. Guishan Island was originally a fishing village, the seafood quality is good and the price is relatively low, which is simply heaven for us two foodies! 🦐🍤
【About Transportation】
Xiangzhou and Hengqin have schedules, but considering more schedules and more flexible time arrangements, I chose Xiangzhou. It is close to Riyuebei, and can be played in series. Hengqin is more suitable for choosing Changlong to play, and it is relatively convenient to leave. 🚗🌐
【About Photography】
On Guishan Island, you can take a sightseeing car for a tour of the island, and there are too many shooting positions along the way. For families like us who walk around with children, this way is more relaxed and friendly. Energetic tourists can also rent bicycles, enjoy the sea view along the west line, and then hike up the mountain to overlook the beautiful sea view. 📸🚲
【About Food】
Our days on the island are all about buying seafood, and then going to the store for processing. After observing for two days, I found that the seafood stalls in the market are all very fat and beautiful, and the prices are relatively friendly. The freshest and most amazing discovery this time is the mudfish and golden label fish, which are simply mouth-watering! 🍣🐟
【About Walking with Children】
For families with plenty of time, it is recommended to rent a multi-person bicycle, ride to Dolphin Bay Beach, and play with sand with children. Families with tight time can choose the small beach next to the pier, close to the lighthouse. Especially in the evening, while the children are playing with sand, adults can also enjoy the sunset and the cool sea breeze, which is very comfortable. 🚴♀️🌅

A day as a happy islander on Guishan Island
Finally came to the long-awaited Guishan Island🏖️
It is recommended that everyone check the weather forecast before traveling. Guishan Island on a sunny day is really beautiful and the photo rate is very high📸👍🏻 There are not many tourists on the island, so you don't have to worry about the background being crowded with people when taking pictures😆

Ah, I love this secluded, niche island in Guangdong
Ah, I love this secluded, niche island in Guangdong. A treasure island discovered at the beginning of 2024
Guishan Island, Zhuhai, Guangdong
Not many people, friendly distance
Niche destination
Unfortunately, I can only post 18 pictures (I really can't fit them all. Guishan Island doesn't have (knock on the blackboard!
Soft beaches and ideal long coastlines
This is a small island full of fishing port atmosphere
With the leisurely small town scenery, the resonance of mountains and sea, some people say that its blue and white is Zhuhai's little Santorini
Personally, I think this misunderstanding may be a bit big. Guishan Island has its own cuteness
It's not big, it's simple
If the weather is good, there will be beautiful sunrises and sunsets. How to get there?/
Recommend buying boat tickets departing from Xiangzhou Port
It's near the port of Riyuebei, arrive a little earlier to exchange for paper boat tickets on the machine (20 minutes from Zhuhai High Speed Railway Station)
100r
50 minutes
The route will cross the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge at sea. The cabin is spacious and quite new, I sat on the first floor without seasickness. What's on the island?/
Guishan Island is not big, after getting off the boat is the dock residential area of the island residents
Some internet-famous coffee shops, seafood markets, the main food and drink are distributed near the disembarkation
In the evening, the small square may encounter small performances, and there are night markets. I mainly did one thing on Guishan Island - walk
It's a bit tiring to walk 3,000 steps
Actually, you can choose a sightseeing car
Recommend some parts I like
1 Double lighthouse, red and green can also be super beautiful! It can be seen from many angles on the island, and it's good to take pictures from afar
Guishan Island mascot - Guixiaobai is a conspicuous package on the island, very cute
Commercial area and the same location as the bicycle explosion article Aimin Road is still under construction. It is a long slope road, directly facing the coast from the hillside, it is tiring to climb directly up, it is recommended to buy a bus ticket (5r per person) at the bus stop near the disembarkation and take it to the top of the slope and walk down, you can overlook the sea and fishing port while walking
4 Internet-famous zebra crossing
It looks ordinary on the spot, but it's good for taking pictures. 5 Walking on Guishan Island is quite atmospheric
It has both the quietness of the island town and the natural beauty of the wild. Especially recommend walking on the road in front of the dock at night, look down along the way, you will encounter "romantic" surprises
What to eat on the island?/
Food and drink are concentrated in one area, easy to find
For meals, you can choose to go to the seafood market to buy yourself
Prices are written out (but you can bargain!
The processing fee of the restaurant is also open and transparent, you can choose a few to compare. There are also tea restaurants, porridge, noodles and rice
The price is also reasonable
(Unfortunately, the cute bakery was not officially open when I went

Aimin Road
I really like it here, it's a downhill road leading to the blue sea, you can overlook the sea level and the lighthouse, the morning photo light is good, friends say it's like Kamakura, and the sunset is also very atmospheric
Beishan Reservoir
You need to take a sightseeing car to get there, the green ladder on the coastline, it's sunny during the day, it's better to come in the morning or evening.
Guihai Village, the blue and white small house street, a bit of Santorini's tune
Guishan Lighthouse
It's right where you get off the boat, you must come here to watch the sunset and evening glow, you can overlook the city in the twilight
Seaside reef plank road
It's about a five-minute walk from the lighthouse, and the entrance is a stone cave that looks good in photos
Tips|Accommodation can be chosen on the hillside near Guihai Village, where the terrain is high, choose a room with a sea view, it's great to wake up and watch the sea in front of the window
The island is hot and humid in summer, the temperature is just right when you go in spring, but you also need to do sun protection!
