#Mount Agung Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Bali - it has all the elements
Temples, hot springs, volcanoes
Offshore islands, surfing, going out to sea
Snorkeling, deep diving, crab boats
Watching the sunrise and sunset
Photographing dolphins playing in the water
There's no lack of cool and warm colors
There's no shortage of culture and nature
This is Bali
This island located in the southern part of Indonesia
Located in the southern hemisphere
Near the equator
The climate is warm, needless to say
It's a great place to spend the winter and summer
Mount Agung is the highest peak locally
Nearly three thousand meters above sea level
Active volcano
The most recent eruption was in 2019
Quite active
Sitting on the volcano viewing platform and having a simple meal is also a unique experience
Of course, usually, people go to Mount Batur
Bali itself is not big
But it is more recommended to rent a car for travel
After all, the public transportation system is not as convenient and developed as in our country
The usual car rental routes will go to the Sea God Temple, Mother God Temple, and Holy Spring Temple
Take a look at the local temple style
Visit the rituals and believers
In addition, it should be mentioned
The main island of Indonesia believes in Islam
While this place in Bali believes in Hinduism
After visiting the temples, go to Ubud
Take a look at the local palace
Market and rural scenery
The accommodation here is usually villa type
Cheap and plentiful
Highly recommended to stay for a day or two
Then head north to Lovina
Chasing dolphins frolicking and jumping
Accompanied by the leisure time of sunrise and sunset
Then return to Denpasar (the capital)
Surf at Kuta Beach
Watch the sunset
Stroll around the bustling city
If you have time, you can also stay in Nusa Dua for a few nights
This is a high-end hotel concentration area
Vehicle security checks will be conducted when entering the area
It's the highest security level I've seen in Bali
Here you can see the extremely beautiful cliff scenery
Undisturbed private beaches, etc.
Of course
Depending on the schedule
You can also go to the offshore islands
Blue Dream Island
The seascape here is even more top-notch
And the most famous "Devil's Tears"
Be careful
Every year these tears are "devouring" those who have no respect for the sea
Blue Dream Island is even smaller
Travel on the island is all by renting motorcycles
Take a look at the seaweed fields
Look at Mount Agung in the distance
It's great
So Bali is a place suitable for all ages
Leave enough time
You can still have a comfortable time

Enjoying Sunrise at Pinggan Kintamani Villag
Mount Batur is an active volcano in Kintamani District, Bangli Regency, Bali, Indonesia. The southeastern side of the 10×13 km caldera contains mostly caldera lakes. Both the larger caldera, and the 7.5 km smaller caldera were formed by the collapse of the mountain's magma chamber, the first larger collapse occurred around 29,300 years ago, and the inner caldera collapsed a second time around 20,150 years ago.
Mount Agung is considered the embodiment of Purusha (male) and Mount Batur is considered as the embodiment of Pradhana (female). Between Purusha and Pradhana cannot be separated because they always synergize to give birth to fertility and create prosperity for the community. Mount Batur is one of the ancient mountains on the island of Bali. The right time to enjoy Surise It departs at 4 in the morning from Denpasar"

Black Sand at Amed Beach in Bali!
#celebratewithtrip
Amed Beach is located on Bali's Eastern tip. It has an excellent snorkel and diving sites, black volcanic sandy beaches and impressive views on Mount Agung. Amed Beach promises extraordinary panoramic views. Apart from its scenery, this beach is more known as the ultimate Bali destination for snorkeling. You will discover various snorkeling spots and dive sites directly from the beach in Amed. In the evening the sunset was spectacular with the view of Mount Agung. There are shops, restaurants and bars around or by the beach which is very convenient. There are very friendly and hospitable locals. I love spending the evening here by the beach drinking my mojito. It is indeed spectacular!

It is always interesting to visit homes in other countries. In Bali on our bike tours we stopped by this home to help feed and wash the pigs. We also saw the chickens and got a chance to view the homes kitchen. So Interesting and educational. #givethanks #balitravel #biketour

We were in Bali in 2017 when thousands were having to evacuate from this volcano, Mt. Agung. We had lunch at a restaurant with a view of the volcano and lake. Quite the experience. #givethanks #mtagung #balitravel

Second Visit to Bali - This Article is All You Need!
🏖️ Bali boasts first-class beaches, first-class islands, and first-class breathtaking scenery. If you must visit one island in your lifetime, this is the place to go~ Below, I'll share my strategy for a second free-and-easy trip.
📖 Itinerary:
Day1: Chengdu to Singapore🇸🇬 (4 hours by plane) Transfer flights are cheaper, and you can either have a travel agency handle the entry and exit procedures or sort it out online in advance. Group visas seem to cost over two hundred yuan (as per the travel agency we used). Remember to bring your passport and exchange currency in advance, as airport rates are low and fees are high; arrive three hours early for international flights, Tianfu International Airport is really huge!
Day2: A day tour of Singapore's city center, where you can visit the iconic Merlion Park and Marina Bay Sands (these two attractions are quite close to each other); Changi Airport has a 40-meter vertical waterfall, designed by a Feng Shui master, worth visiting for some good luck (accessible via an underground passage from T1, direct passages from T2T3, and by skytrain or airport bus from T4).
Day3: Check into a Bali hotel (Indonesia · Ba Tang · Royal Tulip Springhill Resort - Jimbaran Royal Tulip Springhill Resort - Jimbaran, Ba Tang 80363, Indonesia) This hotel is a villa type, with a swimming pool, afternoon tea, forest yoga, laundry room, etc. It's recommended to rest at the hotel for a bit, the environment is great and relaxing, and in the evening you can order a cocktail and listen to music.
Day4: Jimbaran Beach🏖️ The commercial scene here is quite complete, you can find some popular restaurants to dine and enjoy afternoon tea; you can also swim, and you must watch the sunset in the evening, the beach and the sea at sunset are very healing.
Day5: Mount Agung🌋 If you are proficient in English, you can book a one-day volcano tour on various platforms. The tour will include a local guide, who speaks English, will help you navigate through the attractions around the volcano, and can assist with queuing and carrying bags, etc. It's very safe and you get to see a lot of sights. If you think the guide's service is good, you can give a tip, they are really honest people.
Day6: Going out to sea🚢 Check the weather, but it's recommended to book a one-day sea outing that includes 4 diving spots, also with an English-speaking guide. You can bring your own snorkeling gear or use the ones provided on the boat; it's not recommended to buy your own boat ticket to go there, as it's easy to get scammed if you don't speak the language.
Day7: Fairy Falls; you must visit this place, although it's an internet-famous spot, it's truly worthy of being featured in National Geographic! It's super beautiful for photos and very photogenic, it's a free attraction, but be careful, there are no safety measures on the edge of the cliffs, it's easy to fall off! The drive from our hotel to this spot is long, be sure to use sunscreen and buy some water to prepare, as it's easy to get heatstroke!
Day8: Free time Rest
Day9: Bali to Singapore; Singapore to Chengdu
✏️ Practical Tips:
1. Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen! I can't stress this enough!
2. Protect against mosquito bites.
3. Don't go alone, it's best to travel with others.
4. Carry medicine for stomach and inflammation, it's hard to buy locally if you get sick.
5. If you're riding a motorcycle, make sure you have an international driver's license and are accustomed to driving.
6. Bring a plug adapter.
7. For transportation, you can use Grab, it's quite cheap and very safe.
The Traveling Epicure
Agung volcano Bali
The Mount Agung hike takes you to the top of the biggest and baddest volcano peak on the island of Bali, Indonesia, and the sunrise views are out of this world.
This brutal trek takes you up the steep slopes of an active volcano until you’re staring into the massive crater itself. I did the Mount Agung hike recently, and it was one of the most difficult and thrilling things I’ve ever experienced.

Savana Tianyar, a Very Beautiful Place in East Bali
"Savana Tianyar is a tourist spot in Bali which is truly extraordinary. Unlike Bali's tourist destinations in general, namely the beach. However, here you will see a wide expanse of savanna that spoils the eye. In fact, it's like being in the African savanna.
The location is in Karangasem. This area is in the eastern part of Bali. In fact, this natural tourist attraction has been around for a long time. It's just that not many people know about it.
You can take pictures here with Mount Agung in the background. If you're lucky, you can take a photo with a slightly cloudy background. So the photo will look even prettier."#tianyar #savanatianyar #bali #indonesia

Definitely one of the best views you can get on Bali overlooking the lush green rice fields of Eastern Bali with mighty Mount Agung in the background.

The Agung volcano in Bali, which was photographed in June 2017, was so calm and serene. I didnt expect the Argonne volcano to erupt soon after returning to China. The last outbreak dated back to 1963, when more than 80,000 people were there. Displaced... God bless!
