Hotels With parking in South Yorkshire, United Kingdom

A great hotel in a good location for visitors to Sheffield. The advantage of staying slightly out of the city centre for free parking and a peaceful location. The rooms are clean, spacious and quiet in lovely grounds. We had 4 rooms with our party which were booked at a reasonable price and 2 were upgraded on arrival which was a bonus. The staff were friendly and welcoming especially the lady on reception. Would happily stay here again

1) The room with two queen beds was great! 2) It's a shame the gym and pool close so early; my post-dinner workout plans went down the drain! 3) If you're driving, the parking is in a public lot outside the hotel, and there's no charging available.

This is the 2ed time staying here for 2 nights the price is ok the room is clean you get free tea and coffee in your room the breakfast is good value for money I believe it’s 15 pounds per person there is lots of fresh fruit cereal, a cooked breakfast as much tea and coffee as you like we didn’t go into the park this time as I have been in the wildlife Park before with my daughter this time we were visiting family the wildlife Park is amazing the staff at the Hex Hotel are super friendly . And professional. The only thing I would say negative about the hotel is checking after 4 pm. And you have to be out of the room by 10 am. I think check-in should be from 2 pm then that gives you a little bit longer in the room and maybe check out 11 am but apart from that I can’t fault this place but if you want to do an earlier check-in, they charge you £30. And if you want to upgrade your room, they charge you £15 per night to upgrade. . The shower is absolutely amazing. You have a rain shower and a smaller shower. You get two massive bath towels, two hand towels also shower gel body cream soap. That are individually. I will definitely be coming back and staying again. A short taxi ride into Doncaster town Centre where there is lots of bars that play music if you’re into that there’s also a designer outlet not far from the hex hotel. .

The room was spacious and clean, making for a very comfortable stay. The English-style breakfast was delicious. It's a little bit far from the city center, but it's comfortable and I would recommend it.

Room was nice for the price, good water pressure and hot. Room was warm, bed comfy. Would have loved a kettle, and the parking permit they provide is a piece of paper which for my albeit niche position as a motorcyclist meant they just told me, don't worry if you get fined you'll get it cancelled, which is never fun! Also they take card for damage deposit which isn't actually an issue but it isn't notified at booking like nearly all others who do the same which is a bit subversive.

My expectations were measured, having read many of the reviews, but on reflection it was a perfectly acceptable stay. Three nights was ample, and the room could have been larger, but the location for us, attending the British Transplant Games, was ideal. A matter of minutes walking took us to the Sheffield Arena Yellow tram stop, from where we could easily access the city centre. Bad timing because of major works on the line over the weekend meant that we had to change to a replacement bus, but that was a minor inconvenience. The breakfast room can be inadequate for the number of visitors, depends on when you want to eat, but the top-up service was good during our stay. Friendly staff made it enjoyable, and it looked like one could borrow a kettle for the room, though being forewarned, we took our own travel one, and an extra couple of pillows as well. It is after all a budget hotel, you get what you pay for, but at least it was clean. Only one real gripe, and it's climate related. It might be worth installing blinds at the windows of the breakfast room; with the summer we are having, the sun was quite intrusive, just a thought.

My stay at the Rutland Hotel was really pleasant. The staff were friendly and kind; the lady at the check-in desk was particularly lovely, and I was lucky enough to get the last available parking space! I thought the room was perfect for a solo traveler, providing me with a comfortable base after a day of exploring the city before attending a show the following day. Everywhere was clean and tidy. I made use of the facilities, enjoying a relaxing shower and winding down in my pyjamas with an episode of Midsomer Murders (each room has a tv and wifi). I ordered room service and the curry was tasty. The only downside was that the room was really hot throughout the night. Even with the provided fan running and the window and curtains left open, it remained uncomfortably warm. Aside from that, it was an enjoyable stay. I would stay here again, but hopefully not in a room so hot!! To the staff - thank you for being so lovely :)

Quiet and well connected location. Good views from the bedroom overlooking the well tendered fields of the nearby facility. Easy access to nearby major motorways. Adequate free parking (need to self-register at check-in). Tired decor but fairly maintained in most part. Safe provided for your valuables. Old style flat screen TV. Shower over bath provides good experience. Massive comfortable bed supporting good sleep experience every night. Bedroom access card was a huge problem at check-in and in-between my stay - I had to return back to reception three times as the card didn't work at check-in! Ended up insisting that the staff seek help as I was not ready to keep doing the same thing and expect a different result. I got back another evening and card had stopped working again but staff at reception this time was quite responsive - after one unsuccessful attempt to reactivate the card he immediately went up with me to use a staff card to allow me access back to my bedroom with plan for resolving the card issue thereafter. I am appreciative of his reassuring approach.

Great affordable stay at ibis Sheffield City Central. Prime central spot, walking distance to tran station, shops and all main landmarks. Rooms clean and tidy, beds comfortable with reliable free Wi-Fi. Staff at 24hr reception are friendly and efficient. Downsides: no air con, room size quite small. Perfect short-stay budget pick for visiting Sheffield city centre.

From check in to check.out served by warm, friendly professional staff, a pleasure to stay in this old hotel. Special thanks to Miranda and Carol, the housekeeping ladies for providing us with a spotlessly clean and comfortable room. Plenty of hot water, big clean towels, good size tv and were very generous replenishing our tea and coffee supplies. Enjoyed a good IPA beer on the first evening and loved listening to the live singing, 70's throwback by the excellent female singer. Would stay here again should we need to book a hotel on our next visit to Rotherham.
