Baiyun Mountain is the first of the new "Yangcheng Eight Views", the national key scenic spots, the national civilized scenic tourist area and the national AAAAA-level scenic spot. It is located in the northeast of Guangzhou, one of the famous mountains in Nanyue, and has been known as the "Yangcheng First Show" since ancient times. The mountain is quite wide, composed of more than 30 peaks, which is the branch of Jiulian Mountain, the highest peak in Guangdong. The area is 20.98 square kilometers, the main peak Moxingling height is 382 meters, the peak overlaps, the stream is vertical and horizontal, and the city can be seen from the height and the Pearl River. Whenever the rain is sunny or late spring, the mountains are surrounded by white clouds, and the name of Baiyun Mountain is derived from it. Baiyun Mountain has a beautiful scenery and has been a famous scenic spot in Guangzhou since ancient times. Such as "Yuanquan", "Baiyun Wanwang", "Jingtai Senggui", etc., are listed in the ancient "Yangcheng Eight Views". In the 60s and 80s, Baiyun Mountain was rated as one of the "Yangcheng New Eight Views" by "Baiyun Songtao" and "Yunshan Jinxiu" respectively. At the end of Qing Dynasty, there were ancient temples such as Baiyun Temple, Shuangxi Temple, Nengren Temple, Maitreya Temple and Baiyun Xianguan, Pearl Tower, Baihua Temple and other places of interest.
