博物馆中有不少的介绍，虽然看不懂文字，但是可以通过看实物也可以对迪拜的文化有所了解。 博物馆是一个像城堡的建筑，门口还有大炮放置着，进入博物馆很凉快，空调温度很低，舒适的温度让参观的人会乐意多呆一会。一个展厅是有迪拜的武器、乐器、弓箭等的介绍。 这座前身曾是皇宫,要塞及海防的古堡,是迪拜最古老的建筑物。走进博物馆,就像进入时光隧道一样,从博物馆的露天展览,可看到古阿拉伯人人以前的住屋模式,包含最早期的风塔。室内展区部分位于在古堡底层,是一个仿古市集,展现阿拉伯传统风貌的艺术馆,其中包括已有3-4千年历史的古墓铜器,值得慢慢欣赏。而且迪拜文化博物馆同时也是一个奇妙的军事博物馆。 随着人群进入到楼下，可以看到到一只很大的鸟儿在空中盘旋的雄姿，代表迪拜的飞跃吧，从一个沙漠中的贫困落后的小国，通过石油、天然气的开放，一跃成为世界上富裕的国家，用翻天覆地来形容一点都不夸张。 楼下是比较昏暗的展厅，用各种手工艺人的蜡像来营造出作为小渔村的发展历程，靠捕鱼，采珍珠起家，几乎还原了当时的场景，能听到小孩上课唱歌的声音，木匠，铁匠工作的声音，集市的热闹还有流水的声音，甚至在地上还铺了沙子，仿造了沙漠的感觉！通过声、光、电来给我带来最直观的介绍。 出来的时候还见到蒙着面纱的当地妇女人在吃午饭，这样的场景更有震撼力！当然，导游也会提醒我们不要去拍照，当地的风俗习惯还是要充分遵守的。

博物馆很小，就在迪拜河附近，在这里可以了解迪拜的历史，博物馆建于1787年，曾经是守护迪拜的军事要塞，后加建了艺术馆，用以介绍阿拉伯人的祖先贝多因人的历史。 迪拜博物馆坐落在阿法迪城堡（Al Fahidi Fort）内，这座城堡是迪拜最古老的建筑。可以参观博物馆内的仿古代商人大屋和地下热闹的仿古市集。
