Maokong Gondola is definitely one of the places you must visit if it's your first trip to Taipei. Enjoy the break taking view from the top of the mountain, located right beside the zoo. Check out the matcha and hojicha ice cream too!

Fun experience taking the cable car up, especially the glass bottomed cabins. Friendly and helpful staff at the visitor information centre. Nice trails for a stroll with local food stalls and cafes.

The Maokong Gondola in Taipei has a scenery view, very cheap and it is the No 1 cable car globally. I would give an A+ to the Maokong Gondola.

Very good, worth a visit, weekdays, not many people, must bring an umbrella, there is no place to shade.
