Shisheng Temple is called Lotus Pure Land Shisheng Temple, and because it is a royal monastery built by the emperor Taiji in the early Qing Dynasty, also known as the imperial temple, it is the most famous Tibetan Buddhist Gelu temple in the northeast. The most mysterious in the temple is the law protection building, the original Mahagala law protection statue that was dedicated to pure gold, the treasure of the town temple, mysteriously lost in the late Republic of China, has become an unsolved mystery.

Shisheng Temple was a royal temple in the Qing Dynasty because the Manchu people believed in lamaism. It was a rare Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet. 实胜寺是沈阳维一的皇寺每年到大年初一，有很多人来实胜寺祈福，这也是是沈阳一道靓丽风景线。皇寺庙会，有全国各地的小吃供游人品同时还有表演和各种特色产品大过年也无需远走了，来皇寺庙会逛逛是不错的选择。

皇寺全名为莲花净土实胜寺，是清太宗皇太极敕建的清皇室家庙，因此又称皇寺。皇寺就其宗属而言，是藏传佛教寺庙，而其建筑风格和规制，又明显汉化;天王殿后石碑的碑文更以满、汉、蒙、回四种文字镌刻;山门殿供奉的弥勒菩萨和韦佗菩萨，是典型汉传佛教的形象，其他各殿供奉的佛菩萨圣像，则都是藏传佛教的形象了，东西配殿，汉传佛教一般供奉伽藍菩萨和祖师，皇寺中则分别供奉白度母和绿度母;这些都是比较少见的。现在的皇寺修葺一新，寺中香火旺盛，大殿前还不断有信众在磕长头;寺内僧人、工作人员和(居士)义工都很和善，一派祥和。

昨日中午和同事散步走到了实胜寺。说来也是惭愧，在沈城居住多年，竞然不知道在喧嚣的市井之地还有这样一座皇家喇嘛庙。不大的院落，依稀的梵音，着深红色僧衣的喇嘛却让我感觉如此遥远，玛尼石堆、风马旗似乎都在告诉我来自神秘的地方…… 院子里的桑椹已经熟的散落一地，艳丽的虞美人花也在这僻静一隅绽放芳华。庙宇周边的楼盘星罗棋布，如万丈红尘紧紧包裹，不知道其中的喇嘛如何应对这俗世的诱惑。 也许皇寺和他的喇嘛们经历过繁华，可以从容应对这俗世的一切吧
