The church has been restored countless times since the Middle Ages. There are many beautiful sculptures in it, which are magnificent. From wall murals, to domes, to altars, scripture altars, choir seats, everything seems to be exuding a dazzling color. The old city of Krakow was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1978. The Cathedral of Santa Maria is a typical Gothic building, a model of Polish Gothic architecture. The entire church was built with handmade red bricks, and it took a century to build the interior, the tower and the top of the church.
