Tsai Jui-Yueh Dance Research Institute Review

Cai Ruiyue Dance Research Society - is a historic building, a civilian dormitory in the Japanese period, when there were various dormitory houses in Taipei City, mostly wooden Japanese-style houses. In 1920, dozens of double-parallel wooden dormitory houses were built on Zhongshan North Road. Cai Ruiyue Dance Research Society was built at that time. From the perspective of the pattern, it is the dormitory of Japanese judges. In 1953, it became the home, choreography and creative dance classroom of Cai Ruiyue, the mother of Taiwan's modern dance. It later became a dance classroom.

Taiwan's first city-based monument, "Dance" - Cai Ruiyue Dance Research Society, is hidden in the quiet lanes between high-rise buildings. This rebirth of the fire, once the weaving of many girls' dreams, is also the place where Ms. Cai Ruiyue, the mother of Taiwan's modern dance, realizes her dreams. Cai Ruiyue Dance Research Society was originally a Japanese-era civilian dormitory, located in Wuchome, Yuchengxuan, Taizheng nine years (1920) by the Governor's Mansion, for a simple Japanese-style double bungalow. The roof and beams of the building are teak, the exterior walls are covered with layers of rain showers, the roof is covered with Japanese black tiles, and there are ventilation windows on both sides. The outdoor garden stands more than half a century old elm and longan trees, silently accompanying Cai Ruiyue Dance Research Society spent the best years of the Jiazi.
