Purchasing the JR Wide Pass through Trip.com is incredibly convenient. Previously, with other platforms, I had to go to the airport to pick up and exchange the pass, but now I can exchange it electronically and simply show my email address upon arrival in Japan. On the first day, I was able to ride the Shinkansen to Echigo-Yuzawa for free!

Excellent! Everything from start to finish was very well organized and Jens gave us a wonderful historical perspective of the place that we were going to visit. Jens and his associates took great care of our personal needs and Jens in particular was very knowledgeable about all the details of the trip.

Good if you will be staying the whole time to Karuizawa. Convenient but you constantly need data for it to work!
