Quick registration, you need to exchange it at the machine at the station for a printed ticket, the train is fast and comfortable.

Very convenient. It's super easy to get cash from a machine, and they accept euros, dollars, and even just won. They accept it everywhere! The only issue is that I had trouble reading my transport card, but that must be my phone, because to top up or check my T-Money balance, you have to tap the card to the phone for the chip to be recognized. 🤪😂

You can exchange your voucher for a ticket by showing it at the counter near EXIT 6. There are so many counters that it was a bit confusing to know where to go. The seats are spacious and you can charge your phone! Highly recommended for those who want to travel comfortably.
Reviews: Private DMZ Peace Tour: 3rd Invasion Tunnel and Suspension Bridge
Guest User2024-06-22
I booked this tour with my son (7 years old). Our tour guide was Won who messaged me the day prior to the tour and confirmed a change in time due to some changes in tickets being distributed at the DMZ. The company also contacted me to confirm the time change which I thought was really nice. Won was very knowledgable and gave us a lot of information prior to arriving at the DMZ. His English was great, he was easy to understand, and easy to talk to which made it enjoyable. We arrived at the DMZ and he had secured a spot in line to obtain tickets when it opened. While waiting he gave us a tour and explanation of the DMZ and each of the statue/monument's meanings. We took a bus to the 3rd Invasion Tunnel and were the first ones in the tunnel! We were leaving the tunnel when others started to enter. I enjoyed this part because it was quiet and the air was not heavy with everyone else being down there. It also gave us room. We also stopped at a suspension bridge on the way back to our hotel which was so relaxing and the air was fresh. We did the lake option and I am happy we did. We loved the DMZ tour and were so grateful that we booked the private tour for our pick up and drop off. won was amazing and so nice to talk with. I appreciate his patience with my son and I and the way he made things for for my 7 year old.
Reviews: Free style private Tour(Essence of Seoul city or DMZ)

Highly, highly recommend!! I'm so glad we booked a private tour to see the DMZ over a group tour. It gave my friends and I the time and space and flexibility to take in the complex range of emotions in being there. I simply can't say enough good things about our tour guide, Jun. He is kind, honest, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and fun. We were a little sad to part with Jun at the end of the day - he became a friend! He also went above and beyond for us at so many points - from accepting our last minute booking on a Korean holiday to fun side quests, and most amazingly, to tracking down my friend's lost passport to the DMZ concession stand. She didn't realize it was missing until we had already boarded our train to Busan later that day and couldn't go get it so he raced back to retrieve it and got there minutes before they closed. It saved our whole trip and we are so indebted and grateful. It was an unforgettable day and Jun is the best!!
