Wandering Fishing Port 1773: Sampan Boat Tour and Fisherman's Wharf Cultural Experience
Board a sampan sightseeing boat and embark on the "Wandering Fishing Port 1773" tour to explore Aberdeen, Hong Kong's premier fishing harbor! Multilingual audio guides will immerse you in the stories of the Tanka people, with hands-on experiences like visiting rare drying boats, trying your hand at weaving fish traps, joining a fishing song workshop, and even playing the role of a young fisherman casting a line. Don't miss the chance to strike the dragon boat drum, hold a dragon boat oar, or snap photos in traditional fishing hats. Be sure to savor the authentic "boat noodles"—a fisherman's delicacy cooked fresh on a floating kitchen! In the morning, we also recommend visiting the nearby "Dawn Market" seafood bazaar for a taste of old-school street market charm. Travel through time and immerse yourself in the unique culture of this historic fishing port.
