The tour with our guide Linda has been fantastic. She was overflowing with energy and her stories about the Forbidden City were incredible. She made sure that we felt okay and that we were understanding everything at all times. Then came the great wall visit, where se took care of all the transportation, then told us stories on the bus microphone while getting there. She let us fully enjoy the visit and suggested different routes based on how we were feeling and our level of fitness. I normally don’t book tours with guides, but Linda truly allowed us to live an amazing experience.

Amazing packed 1 day trip to beautiful Forbidden City, completed by Peking duck lunch, the amazing Great Wall and finally good recommendation of Mongolian Hotpot resto in town, Chris our tour guide is an expert, and his English is perfect! Good time management, one big bus for 8 or us, make our journey so relaxing, many insights of Beijing history and culture, two thumbs up!

Mary reached out the day before via WhatsApp and answered my logistic questions. Overall I’m very happy I joined her tour. She is patient, upbeat, and explained well without being overwhelming. Perhaps I’m out of shape, but this ~5 hours walking tour was intense during the last hour or so. Be sure to wear comfiest shoes and bundled up! Also I’m glad Mary’s notes did mention bringing drinks and snacks with you. The snack shops inside the Forbidden City were too long to wait.

I'll remember this day for a long time! I'll list the positive aspects: the bus picked us up on time, the air conditioning was on and it was very warm, and our guide, Jessie, was very kind and helpful! She speaks very good English! She explains everything very interestingly and in detail! I highly recommend coming here; we really enjoyed it!


