This trip was absolutely fantastic! Our driver, Mr. Tan, was incredibly enthusiastic and provided excellent service, even including some delightful surprises. Today's trip to Mutianyu was truly wonderful.

It was the peak season so there’s just too many people but overall we enjoyed our first time visiting Badaling Great Wall. Be careful climbing the steep steps of the wall; without people around is already a challenge but with that much people; well agility is a must too. Anyways our guide is very helpful too and we enjoyed the overall experience. Half day is enough since basically you are just climbing the same thing unless you love the challenge of walking 2 to 3 km of walk.

One of the best excursions! Thanks to the organizers! The views are stunning. It's best to splurge and take both cable cars. You can also go sledding down the second cable car, which is so much fun and exciting!

The teacher, a native of the Temple of Heaven area, possessed an astonishing wealth of knowledge. His explanations of the sites were far from being memorized tour guide scripts; rather, he effortlessly weaved in history, culture, anecdotes, and interesting stories, like a learned friend recounting tales. He not only told us "what this is," but also vividly explained "why it is this way" and "the stories behind it," bringing even the silent bricks and tiles to life with warmth.
