Be sure to carefully review the options when booking! Suzhou gardens have a rich cultural heritage; without a guide, the experience can feel rushed. It was a pretty fun to visit and half day trip although you get quite bored at the end. We thought the boat ride was included but it turned out that it was additional fee. I would say the boat ride was unique but not worth the price.
