A very interesting tour; it's hard to choose what I enjoyed most—the walk along the walls of Hwaseong Fortress, the royal palace, or the folk village—the open-air museum. The Starfield Library should be considered a lunch break, as it's essentially a large shopping mall, a gallery with shops and restaurants. I'd happily spend another hour at the open-air museum, as it's impossible to see even a fraction of the exhibits in the limited time available, and it's a very interesting place. I'll definitely be returning. 🙂 The guide, Simon, is very kind and helpful, eager to share information not only about the sights we're seeing but also about other attractions.★

Our guide John was really friendly and treated us to a lot of delicious Korean food. We also went to a folk village which was very interesting and had a lot of good photo spots. The village was very big and also had an amusement park for my daughter which was unexpected. After that we went to the fortress which required a bit of walking but the story behind it was very good. Some parts of it was sort of tiring but other than that it was wonderful. Finally we went to the local market which was very genuine and the food was great. My family ended up getting a bit lost but John found us in the end. The drive was a bit long but not too bad. His van was also quite comfortable and the view was very good. There are a lot of photo spots that almost filled my phone memory and surprised me as they were all great. Highly recommended for all families with children but please remember that there is a lot of walking involved so probably no grandparents or walking disabilities. Super brilliant!★
