Itinerary
Enjoy a full-day excursion in Biscay from Bilbao that follows a carefully planned itinerary combining heritage, wine, coastal scenery, and local culture.
The day begins with a guided visit to the Vizcaya Suspension Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the region’s most remarkable engineering landmarks, still linking Portugalete and Getxo.
From there, the tour continues to a traditional Txakoli winery, where guests enjoy a tasting of 2 or 3 wines, depending on the winery and season, while learning about the origin of Txakoli, the grape varieties used, and the traditional and modern methods behind this distinctive Basque wine.
After the winery visit, the group travels to the Gaztelugatxe viewpoint*, also known as Dragonstone, for a stop to admire the panoramic views and take photos of the famous islet and hermitage from above.
The excursion then continues to Mundaka, where there is one hour of free time for lunch, not included in the price, with recommendations from the local guide. (stop not included in the Bilingual group option).
The final stop is Bermeo, where a guided tour introduces its seafaring tradition, colorful streets, and historic harbor before returning to Bilbao. (stop not included in the Bilingual group option).

*The visit to Gaztelugatxe is limited to the viewpoint only.
