After booking, any contact issues can be addressed through Trip's messaging system. Since I didn't have a Chinese phone number, the owner provided detailed information about the pick-up location and gave the driver my WeChat ID so he could contact passengers. I boarded at Moon Bay. The outbound journey was by bus, and the return trip was by car for the two of us. Because we left the scenic area early, the driver arrived quickly, and we reached the high-speed rail station ahead of time, making for a very smooth journey.★

I booked a bus ticket, but it turned out to be a car. The upsides were that it arrived quickly and the driver was excellent, very nice and chatty. Initially, Trip.com informed me that I would have to change vehicles, which worried me because of the language barrier. They asked me to add them on WeChat, and I had to write in English for better communication. The driver was kind enough to drop me off at my accommodation, saving me some money on transportation. If you encounter a similar situation and manage to contact the driver, take photos of the waiting area and yourself and send them to the driver so they can find you.★

I took the bus from Guchaegu to Hwangryongguchae Station. The bus arrived a little late and didn't arrive on time, so I contacted the customer service center. The employee told me that it would be a little late and that the bus number had changed. It would have been better if they had told me the bus number in advance. If I hadn't called, I wouldn't have been able to board the bus..ㅜ But the employee was really kind and answered all my questions!★

I chose the 100gb for 1 day option during my layover. It was easy to set up (I had an issue setting up, I think it was because I was using another esim. But I got swift resolution from the support team and manually installed it). It worked incredibly well in Shanghai and I got to walk around till 2am before returning to the airport.★

Don't take the luxury bus. Take this. It's more spacious than you think and it's good value for money. The day before, when I took a nanny bus (a different product from the same company) from Hwangryong-gu-chae Station to Jiuzhaigou, I took a spacious (?!?!) 5-8-seater bus, but there were 4 passengers and the driver, and an SUV with 2-3 rows came. (Do you know how cramped it is when 3 people ride in the back seat of an SUV...) Why! I don't know why I paid more money and took something worse than a bus. The boarding area in the Moonbay parking lot is where the sign says. There's nowhere to buy drinks around here, so prepare in advance and come to the parking lot. I recommend this bus.
