One of the Roshi
It is a temple known locally as the family temple of Naganao Asano, who was also the feudal lord of Ako, and is the wife of Naganao Asano. The wife's posthumous name is Kokoin, and it is said that the name is from there. It's a small temple, but it's calm in the nice precincts.
Red Light
One of the temples related to Chushingura in Ako Castle Town. ＪＲ Starting from Banshu Ako Station, it is located along the sightseeing route to the ruins of Ako Castle. There are Hokkekyo dedicated by Soemon Hara and paintings of Daikokuten, Kurasuke Oishi, but they are usually closed to the public.
Temple related to Yoshishi Ako ②
A temple of the Nichiren sect and the family temple of the wife of Naganao Asano, the lord of Ako domain. It is "Kokoji" from his wife's posthumous Buddhist name Kokoin. The temple is dedicated to the Hokkekyo ８ volume written by Soemon Hara. In addition, there are also 'daikokuten' of the Oishi built-in paintings, but it is not open to the public except for special times.
