Datong Wild Goose Pagoda, also known as Wenfeng Pagoda, was built in the Ming Dynasty four years (1624 AD), and was rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty. The original site is located on the south wall of Datong Ancient City, and it is an eight-story hollow brick tower. In 2008, the original tower was moved to the Confucian Temple for protection, and a new tower was built on the original site according to the style of the Ming Dynasty's surviving pylon, which was 17 meters tall and 3 meters higher than the original tower.

" Yanta " is located on the south wall of Datong Ancient City. This tower was originally named " Wenfeng Tower ". Because many moths gather here during the spring and summer season, it is commonly known as its " Yanta ". Built in the fourth year of tomorrow (1624), the Qing Dynasty rebuilt, the tower is about 14 meters high, the octagonal seven-story hollow brick tower, belongs to the Datongfu Confucian Temple complex. It is the place where the ancient " Dengke and his brother " scitizens worshiped and praised officials. In 2011, the original components and raw materials of the tower were restored and built in Datong " Fu Confucian Temple ", and the ancient building of more than 370 years was protected in a different place. When the city wall was rebuilt, the " Yanta " was rebuilt according to the style of the remains of the Ming Dynasty. The tower is 36 meters high and 48 meters from the ground height, which becomes the tallest building in Datong Ancient City, and the Wild Goose Pagoda of the Fuwen Temple is one big and one small, which is in the view.
