Wenchang Court

＂ Jiayuguan Wenchang Pavilion ＂ Also known as: Wenchang Palace, located outside Dongguan City, Jiayuguan Guancheng, this chic style independent building has a long history. Wenchang Pavilion was built in the Ming Dynasty and rebuilt in Qingdao Light two years (1822 AD). The pavilion is a two-story two-story mountain-top-style building. The bottom two sides are single-bed rooms. There are 18 red-painted pillars around, forming a corridor, and a wooden ladder can be built to climb the floor. The interior is a three-room, deep two-room official hall, with lattice doors and windows on all sides, and more than 80 landscape characters are painted on the upper part. This pavilion was a place for literati ink friends, poetry painting, and reading during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It became a place for civil servants to work in the end of the Qing Dynasty. Wenchang Pavilion is the place for ancient sacrifices to Wenchang Emperor. Wenchang Emperor was a god of mastery and honor. The construction of Jiayuguan Wenchang Pavilion means that the soldiers and business travel pray for the cultural prosperity of the border city, and the talents will be born.

Jiayuguan Wenchang Pavilion outside Jiayuguan Wengcheng, and Jiayuguan were built in the Ming Dynasty, and the Qing Dynasty was renovated. Its characteristics are dozens of landscape characters painted on the doors and windows. It is very exquisite. It was originally a place for civilian office. Now Wenchang Pavilion is not open, can not enter the visit, but only from the outside of the pavilion, can still feel its spectacular.

Wenchang Pavilion is an important part of the world cultural heritage - Ming Great Wall Jiayuguan, which adopts traditional heavy-lift mountain structure, beautiful shape, well preserved, and the statue of Wenchang Zhenjun is served in the Pavilion.

The Wenchang Pavilion in Jiayuguan is adjacent to the Guandi Temple. Like other ancient Chengguans, the Confucian Temple and Wu Temple are complete. This two-story loft is not very large in scale. It is located on the east side of Chengguan and faces the Central Plains. It is a symbol of civilization and education.
