A shrine with impressive red lanterns
It is a minute drive from Urata coast to ２～３. It is said to be the oldest shrine in Tanegashima, and there is a legend that the cultivation of white rice started here. The red lantern is impressive. There was no parking lot and I was allowed to park my car on the side of the road and tour.
Inside the quiet harbor
Located in a fishing port village, the cry of the cherry blossoms in the back mountain echoes in a quiet place. The water is clean and recommended at the nearby campsite and beach.
Historic shrine
It is said to be the birthplace of rice cultivation, and there are seeds and stones. Although it is a historic shrine, it is characterized by an impressive vermilion shrine, and although it has a long history, the era of its founder is unknown.
Seed Island の zuo の Society
It will be Urata Shrine of white rice, which is paired with Homan Shrine of red rice. I can't find any signboards, so it's hard to find 々, but it's on the right hand in the middle of the Urata village heading to Urata fishing port. The rice cultivation festival is abolished It seems that it is, but it was the birthplace of rice cultivation of seeds from Nanban. It is especially recommended for history lovers.
Surprisingly new building shrine
I went to May 2017. It is a shrine near Kamata fishing port at the northern end of Tanegashima. It is an old and venerable shrine, but the torii gate and the building were shiny, probably because they had just been repainted. The silver torii gate and the vermilion shrine were impressive in a small shrine. It is located in a village with Kamata fishing port.
