If you are limited on time in the area like we were wouldn't do this part of Golden Bay area as walk along beach area very long to get to sand dunes which are impressive but we are from west australia...
Wild Coastline
We walked from Wharariki Beach to Puponga along the hilltop Track. Superb views were worth the uphill slog.
Magical place of wilderness
Amazing walk amongst wildlife, marine life, stunning white sand beaches and magestic rock formations and headlands. A must visit for those in the top fo the south.
