The Calvary Church is one of the oldest churches which represent the gothic styles of the buildings around such as the National Palace, National Library etc.

Wonderful church you are free to explore

We had a short stopover in San Salvador and hired a cabbie to take us to see some of the sights for a few hours. This was on of the places that he took us too and it was very lovely.

Looked interesting but was closed.

Looked interesting from the outside but was closed. Not sure if this is permanent or if it only opens when there is a mass. Worth a stroll by if in the downtown area.
