1560 meters
Original Text
On the way from the Akita side to the Iwate side, there was an observatory, so I stopped by. It is located at an altitude of 1500 meters and when you look at the signboard, you can see Mt. Chokai and Mt. Tsukiyama when it is sunny. It was a cloudy sky with light rain, so I couldn't see it up there, but I could see the nearby mountains 々 with the remaining snow and it was beautiful.
It is near the highest altitude of the Aspite Line in Hachimantai. I visited in midsummer and the air was refreshing. I noticed a lot of motorcycle touring. The parking lot is not big. I'm going to see Morioka's Sansa dance.
At an altitude of 1560m, a magnificent view spreads out. I visited in early June, but there was snow around. If the weather is nice, you can see Mt. Gassan.
It is an observatory near the top of the Hachimantai Aspite Line on the Akita Prefecture side. There is a sign that says 1560m at an altitude, and you can see that it is in a fairly high place. There was a space where about eight cars could be parked, and on this day I visited, there were few cars on weekdays and I was able to park without problems. There was Ofukazawa under my eyes, and it was a spot where I could see the beautiful mountain 々 starting with Mt. Tsukiyama.
An observatory near the top of the pass, the prefectural border between Akita and Iwate. The parking space is small, but it wasn't very crowded on weekdays, so there was no problem. It was a little cloudy day, so I couldn't see it too far, but it seems that I can see Mt. Chokai and Mt. Tsukiyama on a sunny day. Still, it was a masterpiece of scenery.
