Seimei Shrine in Kyoto is well known, but I didn’t know that there is also his shrine in Tsuruga. According to the explanation panel, Abeno Seimei used to live here and study the astronomy. It is a sm...
It seems that the onmyo family, Seimei Abe, lived in this area for a while, and when he was busy studying astronomy, he visited this place, which was Inari Shrine, day and night. There is an information board, so I thought it was a magnificent shrine, but the back of the torii gate is a shrine like a simple house.
It is a shrine in the city of Tsuruga City, Fukui Prefecture. It is a shrine related to Abe Seimei, who became the landlord of onmyodo, and in fact, Abe Seimei lived here to study astronomy and geobun, and there was a spiritual stone (prayer stone) in the hall of worship to investigate the mystery. When I entered the hall of worship like a private house, I was able to worship the prayer stone through the small window under the altar. It is said that if you throw a donation and put it on a stone, your wish will come true, and there were traces of many people throwing it.
It is a small shrine I found while walking around Tsuruga city. It was close to the Tsuruga City Museum. As soon as you pass through the torii gate, there is a shrine where you can take off your shoes and worship. It is a valuable spot where you can pray to the stones actually dug by Seimei. It wasn't a tourist destination and there were few people, so I was able to worship slowly. Osaka, Kyoto Seimei Shrine, and Tsuruga Seimei Shrine are in a straight line.
I stopped by from Tsuruga Station for sightseeing. It is a small shrine near the Tsuruga City Museum. It is a shrine that enshrines Abe Seimei and the god of food. There is a prayer stone for Seimei. I have been worshiping 〇
