Bhuwan Niwi Temple is a famous temple where the current king leads the practice near Khao San Road. Many kings of Thailand have practiced in this temple, including the current King Bhumibol, that is, Rama IX, and several members of the royal family have been ordained here. In addition, Thailand's second Buddhist university, the Buddhist College, is located in this temple. The temple is hidden in a quiet, wooded place. The golden pagoda, the light yellow house, neat and quiet. Its architecture has the imprint of Chinese style. A centrally located gilded stupa is surrounded by two symmetrical auditoriums. In the main hall, there is one of the few Sukhothai-style main Buddha statues in Thailand. It is one of the models of Buddha statues in the Sukhothai period and is very beautiful. The murals in the temple are made by famous monk painters in Thailand. From the temple, across a Bama Road, you can see a Buddhist bookstore with English versions of Buddhist books.
