Bauhinia Park is located in the creative industry park in the northeast of Changzhou, at the intersection of Zhulin North Road and East Longitude 120 Avenue. It covers an area of 20.15 hectares (about 302 acres) and is the largest rose theme park in Changzhou. Bauhinia Park highlights two characteristics. A major feature, Bauhinia Park will take the geographical feature of the 120° east longitude as the construction theme. The 120-degree east longitude is the reference meridian of "Beijing time", and Changzhou is a prefecture-level city where this meridian passes through the urban area. According to this feature, the 120-degree east longitude is used as the main landscape axis of the park. At the same time, this axis is also the main landscape axis in the eastern part of Changzhou. It connects Bauhinia Park, East Longitude 120 Landscape Avenue, and China Dinosaur Park, and jointly builds a tourist route integrating tourism, ecology and popular science. The second major feature is that the Bauhinia Park has been identified as the main venue of the Fourth China Rose Exhibition and the 2010 World Rose Federation Regional Conference, and has been built into a personalized rose garden.
