九曲洞是中横公路的一大奇观，常为中外游客叹为观止，九曲洞是指曲洞之多，并非刚好九个山洞，沿着立雾溪的峡谷风景线而行，触目所及皆是壁立千仞的峭壁、断崖、峡谷等，令人不得不赞叹造物者的鬼斧神工。

Photos of Jiuqu Cave
Jiuqu Cave, located in Taroko, was built by digging through the mountains when the Zhongheng Highway was opened in 1955. Due to the cutting of the terrain, a winding corridor is formed here, so it is named Jiuqudong. The Jiuqudong tunnel is 1220 meters long and is a wonder of the Zhongheng Highway.
