Photos of Golden Beach

Located on the southwestern tip of Weizhou Island, Golden Beach is encircled to the north by large green forests, by surging blue waves to the south, the famous Sanwan (Three Bays) Beach to the east, and the enormous cruise ship terminal to the west. The beach is several hundred meters wide and stretches for several kilometers along the shore. The gentle slope down to the sea makes this natural bathing beach an ideal place for summer vacations and leisure. Tourists who have traveled throughout China's north and south have praised the beautiful scenery of Golden Beach and it was praised by the British travel writer Manton as "the Hawaii of the East”.
