Climbing the brick steps of 16th Street, my friend and I spent some time climbing the top of Grand View Park. The park is free of tickets and you can see the spectacular 360-degree view of the whole city. We went at dusk, intended to see a beautiful sunset, unfortunately the clouds that were not pleasant at times in San Francisco. Because there were bare roots and muddy paths at the top, we needed to plan on footwear. Also bring a coat, no matter how much sweat you sweat, the top of the mountain is very windy. I can imagine how many people there will be on the weekend, so try to go up on weekdays if possible. Grand View Park has put a perfect end to my California holiday.
