The square of the port of Vasili stands on both sides of two bow-shaped columns, 32 meters high, a lighthouse for navigation for the ships entering the port, called the Rastellari column. The bow was decorated because in ancient Greece and Rome, the bow of the defeated ship was pinned to the column as a symbol of victory in the sea. On the granite pedestal of the navigation lighthouse, four statues symbolizing Russia's four major rivers - the Volga, the Volkhov, the Dnieper and the Neva River that runs through St. Petersburg. The entire stock exchange-centric complex is magnificent and beautiful. The lighthouses will be lit during major festivals.
