Kyomizu-dera Temple, located on the mountainside of the eastern Kyoto Yinyu Mountain, was built in 778 and is the oldest temple in Kyoto. It was burned and rebuilt several times before being listed on the World Heritage List in 1994. The clear water stage in front of the hall is a national treasure of Japan, surrounded by green trees, cherry blossoms in spring, is one of Kyoto's cherry-watching places, autumn red maple is cool, and it is also a maple-watching resort. The tea art of Kiyomizu Temple is ranked first in Kyoto.
