Came on April 23, 2024. Geyuan is the residence and private garden of the salt merchants in the Qing Dynasty. Here you can really feel the rich side of the salt merchants in that year. Even compared with the famous Jiangnan garden, it is not inferior. It is an unmissable attraction. The name of "geyuan" is related to bamboo, and a large number of bamboos are planted in the garden, which is the most prominent feature of this yard. But in my opinion, the bigger highlight of the garden is the rockery landscape stacked with the theme of "spring, summer, autumn and winter" four seasons, located in the central core of the scenic spot. These landscapes are the only one in the world, containing a lot of ingenuity. The garden is the rule of "front residence, back garden". The main entrance on the south side is not eye-catching. The wonderful backyard is hidden on the north side, reflecting the philosophy of the Qing Dynasty salt merchants "not showing wealth".
