Villas in Zhejiang, China

I've been to the area many times, but this was my first stay at Manyuan. It's truly my dream villa, especially the living room with its huge floor-to-ceiling windows, open-plan kitchen, and island counter. We spent New Year's Eve here, cooking, playing cards, and drinking. The kids enjoyed a bath together, and we even saw distant fireworks from the balcony that lasted a long time! 🎆

Good reviews! It is indeed one of the best B&Bs in Yunhe Terraces Scenic Area. I booked a big bed room in Yunlan, and contacted the B&B in advance to reserve a room with a good location and balcony during the off-season. As a result, when I arrived, I saw that the whole villa No. 8 was reserved for me (there is only one big bed in Building 8), which saved me the embarrassment of sharing a villa with others. The privacy is so good. Thank you for the inn. The room facilities are very good, and there is even a capsule coffee machine😄. The balcony view is great, and the breakfast is extremely rich. I haven't eaten it for two days [snickering]. The front desk girl is enthusiastic and contacted me on WeChat the day before check-in to remind relevant precautions. When I checked in, I was also given a ticket to the scenic spot and a coffee coupon for the scenic spot cafe. During the two-day vacation, I saw the spectacular sunrise and golden terraces, which was beautiful and worthwhile!

I had a really nice stay here — it felt like a genuine tea village experience. The area is beautiful, with lots of great hiking routes nearby, so it’s perfect if you enjoy spending time outdoors. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and the bed made it easy to get a good night’s sleep. I also had a small private balcony where I could enjoy afternoon tea with a mountain view, which was such a peaceful daily ritual. The host speaks good English and was very kind and helpful, going out of her way to support me even when she didn’t have to. That thoughtfulness made the stay feel extra welcoming. I’d happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic getaway.

Great experience! I booked for one night and ended up extending for another, as it offered fantastic value for money. The pool was also very clean. The little pet, Doudou Huahua, on the property was absolutely adorable! Highly recommend; I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

The hotel's amenities are excellent. They took great care in preparing our room and even had the private hot spring tub in the courtyard ready for us beforehand. The exclusive courtyard felt private and cozy, with a view of distant green mountains and lush bamboo—perfect for relaxation! We were also greeted with welcome fruits, which made us feel right at home. A special shout-out to the complimentary photography service offered by the hotel, which created truly precious memories for my friends and me!

Although there is no blue sky, I still like the time here. The brothers and sisters in the store are very nice. They respond to any needs in the group as soon as possible. The breakfast is good and the auntie is also very good. I will come again next time

A hidden gem of a B&B in Xiantan Village, it looks just like something out of a Miyazaki fairy tale – so unique! We got upgraded to a dome room during the off-season, and I loved the tatami relaxation area and the balcony with breathtaking views. It would be even better if the private hot spring’s overhead cover could be removed and some small night lights added for extra ambiance! A big thank you to the thoughtful butler for their excellent care.

The hotel is very nice, nothing to fault. Because I went on a weekday and there were relatively few people, the store directly upgraded the room type. In fact, the room I booked was enough, but I moved to a larger one and it was very comfortable. The service is also very considerate. If you don’t bring a swimming ring, you can ask the hotel to borrow one. The young lady and aunt at the front desk are very friendly. The location is also very good, just get off the highway and drive 3 kilometers to get there. It is very convenient to eat nearby, including going to Danzhu. The room is quite large, the bed is very comfortable, and the bedding is very clean. I've stayed at Hilton before, but I didn't feel as comfortable as here. I just wish the curtains could block more light, but this is a personal issue. I will recommend it to my friends. Anyway, I will stay here in the future. The breakfast is also very good. It is a nine-square grid, and it clearly tastes like home-cooked food. I personally think it is better than the perfunctory buffet in the hotel. All five stars, nothing to fault.

The host was extremely nice and the stay was very comfortable, surrounded by tea plantation. It is also very near Lingyin temple. But the day we arrived, we realised that the traffic leading up to the hotel was closed for taxis and e-hailing vehicles to enter. We had to get off the cab midway and took a bus with heavy luggage to get to the hotel. We were not informed about this prior. The host was very nice to pick us up from the bus terminal nevertheless. The traffic rules made it very difficult for us to go out of that area as the nearest landmark we could get an e-hailing car was 5km away. We had to take the bus to get out of the area and the bus was traveling at snail speed due to the heavy traffic. For those who wants to be around the botanical gardens or the lingyin temple can stay here. Otherwise, the location is not ideal. We did not do things in our Hangzhou itinerary due to the bad location. There was no metro nearby as well.

This trip went very smoothly, I really want to thank the butler. My kids and I took the high-speed rail there, and the housekeeper reminded me of some details I hadn't noticed. Walking down the stream from the top of the mountain, you will enter the Kenggen Shizhai. The B&B is just 50 meters away from the Shizhai. The B&B is clean and sanitary. There is a restaurant called Yi Zhu He next to it. I recommend the wood-fired turkey as it is very delicious.
