This is the tallest building in Berlin and I believe you can go to the observation deck and enjoy the beautiful views of Berlin. I have been to similar buildings in several cities, but the information board of the Berlin TV Tower gave me the best experience.
MoreThe Berlin TV Tower is the second tallest TV tower in Europe and is regarded as a classic landmark of Berlin. This TV tower, built between 1966 and 1969, is 365 meters high. The steel-framed big sphere at the peak of the tower is shining, and it can be seen from any block in Berlin, like a beacon of Berlin.
△If you want a 360-degree bird's-eye view of Berlin, the tower is the best choice for you. On a sunny day, the 203-meter-high platform of the TV Tower will always be crowded with people who come to watch the view, and there are also long queues of people waiting to get on the elevator at the entrance of the elevator. It is better to book tickets in advance during the peak tourist season, otherwise it will take about an hour to queue up.
△It only takes 40 seconds to take the panoramic elevator to the summit, and then you can enjoy the charming city view of Berlin: the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gate, Berlin Main Station, the Olympic Stadium, and the Museum Island Potsdamer Platz are all in sight. On the upper floor of the viewing platform is a revolving cafe, which rotates once in 30 minutes. You can enjoy the food and sip coffee while feeling the automatic scene changing due to the rotation of the sphere.

The Berlin TV tower can be appreciated from below and above. the best place to view it is from the Park Inn Hotel. You can take the lift to the top floor and then climb a few flights of stairs to the top. Pay a few euros and grab a drink and enjoy the view on top of the decking area over looking the city and TV Tower. There are cute deck chairs to sit on too. 😊
It's THE symbol of Berlin. I don't really recommend to go up, it's expensive and crowded. Just enjoy the view from all over the city on this historic building.
The Berlin TV Tower is located between Alexanderplatz and the Republicplatz in the center of Berlin, the capital of the Federal Republic of Germany. Built between August 1965 and October 1969, a group of renowned architects in Germany participated in the design, and more than 300 companies participated in the construction or supply of materials and equipment. The TV tower is 368 meters tall and is second to none in the country, 45 meters higher than the Eiffel Tower in Paris, and the sightseeing hall is 24 meters in diameter and is surrounded by 60 glass windows that do not produce refractive light.
The TV tower is right in the middle of the city, next to one of the biggest train stations. So if you get lost in Berlin, just head to the tower. There are a couple of nice churches and lots of restaurants close to the tower as well.
The best time i spend in the city center Berlin. sitting underneath the TV tower constructed by Russian architect and The Berlin Cathedral is an iconic historical building…
