Original Text
At the west foot of Sanjo Ohashi Bridge is the statue of Mr. Yaji and Mr. Kita. He is the main character of "Tokaido Nakaji Kurige". The main character comes to a pleasant story that he is bought a ladder when he stays at an inn near Sanjo Ohashi bridge.
It is a statue at the foot of Sanjo Ohashi Nishi, the starting point west of the Tokaido 53rd Station. A local shopping street was established in the early Heisei period. Yaji-san Kita-san is the main character of the work, but people in the Edo period must have spent days in this way. I feel it's difficult.
There are humorous statues of small Yaji and Kita under the willow in the west of Sanjo Ohashi. A shopping street union has been established because Sanjo Ohashi is the end point west of the Tokaido. A "stroking stone" is also installed to pray for the safety of travel.
