Xunzi Mausoleum

Xunzi's Tomb, also known as "Lanling Ancient Tomb" and "Xunqing's Tomb", is located 1.5 kilometers southeast of Lanling Town, Lanling County, Linyi City, Shandong Province. It is the cemetery of the ancient sage Xun Qing. Xunzi's tomb is 10 meters long from east to west, 8 meters wide from north to south, 7 meters high at the east and west ends, and 3 meters high in the middle. The seal script on the forehead of the stele reads "Complementary Construction of Xunzi's Tombstone", the inscription and signature are unclear; the other piece was erected by Zhou Fu, the governor of Shandong in the 30th year of Guangxu (AD 1904), with the inscription "The Tomb of Xunqing, the Lingling of Chu Lanling". On December 23, 1977, the tomb of Xunzi was listed as a key cultural relic protection unit in Shandong Province by the Shandong Provincial Revolutionary Committee.
