阮朝九鼎是安放在显林阁面对权庙九口用铜铸成的鼎,位于皇城西南。所有鼎于1835年在顺化开铸,完成于1837年初。每口鼎都有一个阮朝皇帝的名号,它们重量相异而且鼎外的雕镂也不同。九口鼎分别是:高鼎、仁鼎、鄣鼎、英鼎、议鼎、顺鼎、宣鼎、谕鼎、玄鼎。
皇城的大门和第一亭是非常令人印象深刻的,遗址的其余部分正在恢复,参观的时候只有很少的游客,建议花一些时间观看一下短片,说明这个地方曾经在两场战争中遭受轰炸之前的样子。
顺化皇城世祖庙在顺化皇城的景区里面,就在太和殿旁边,当然是专门用来供奉历代皇帝牌位而建造的,保存得还相当完好,但是还是可以看出后来修葺的痕迹。对于普通百姓而言,很多的讲究是看不懂的,但听着导游的解说也就慢慢能够理解以前皇帝的真实生活的一部分了。
