First Successful Trans Atlantic Balloon Flight Memorial
A bit out of the way but a nice monument in a pleasant little park. Very near Aroostook State Park. It might be good to do a little research about the flight before you visit.
This commemorative site is off the beaten path, but maintained in an outstanding condition and is easily accessible to everyone no matter your physical capability. It’s just a neat place to visit.
