Former Residence of Ding Ling

Ding Ling's former residence is located at No. 7, Garden Road, Kunshan. Garden Road is between the south section of Sichuan North Road and Wusong Road in Shanghai. It is just that this road is too short, there is no sign on the map, and the locals know not much. Kunshan Garden is a three-story connecting red brick house with attic, not far from the Suzhou River to the south. Ding Ling lived in this house in the spring of 1933.

Ding Ling's former residence is located in No. 3 Courtyard of Daxiangfeng Hutong in Houhai. Daxiangfeng Hutong is next to the old Gong Wangfu Mansion. It is a hutong formed by the north wall of the Wangfu Mansion. It is said that Cao Xueqian lived in Hutong No. 6. Diagonally opposite the 6th courtyard is the 3rd courtyard, which is where Ding Ling lived in his later years, and is the magazine of National Literature.
